Police investigation into Bouterse’s death, remains seized | Abroad

PARAMARIBO – The remains of Desi Bouterse, who died on Tuesday, have been seized, the Surinamese Public Prosecution Service confirms to the ANP. There will be a police investigation, the spokesperson reports. The investigation focuses on the cause of death and the possible place where the former president died.
