There are also categories such as “Background” or “Goal of the Month”. Important events such as the European Championships or the Olympic Games are of course also offered.
How to design your personal space
The personalized area can be accessed via the burger menu or via the direct link sportschau.de/meins. There you must first log in with your ARD account or create an ARD account if you don’t have one yet.
In the “Customize selection” tab you can then subscribe to your favorite topics and change the selection at any time.
With personalization, users can select their favorites from the wealth of sports topics and display them in their own overview. This creates orientation and is real added value.
“My daily news” also available
After logging in, topics and regions are also available to choose from on the tagesschau.de website. Whether domestic or foreign reports, economics or investigative matters: on the overview in the “My daily news” area, only the selected content is displayed. If new subject areas are added – such as elections – the selection options are adjusted.
With ARD login everything becomes “mine”
The ARD account has been available at ARD Mediathek and ARD Audiothek for a long time. Registered users can use their personal login to activate convenience functions or gain access to age-restricted programs such as “Oderbruch”. With the same ARD account or the same access data, it is now possible to log into the individual areas of tagesschau.de and Sportschau.de.
