A shooting near a US institute leaves one dead and two injured

A student died this Monday and two others were injured by gunshots outside an institute high school on the outskirts of Des Moines, capital of Iowa (USA), police sources cited by local media indicated.

Des Moines Police indicated on their Twitter account that there were multiple victims in a shooting outside East High School. The spokesman for the local Fire Department, Ahman Douglass, said, according to CNN, that the victims are two boys and a girl, without specifying the gender of the person who died. According to the media, the shots could have come from a vehicle passing through the area where that high school is located.

Police Sergeant Paul Parizek stated, quoted by the media, that the agents received emergency calls around 2:48 p.m. local time (20.48 GMT) and that several suspects have been arrested, although for the moment no charges have been filed against anyone.
