In short, all sorts of things happened, and, in all of this, Allegri still managed – and this is no small feat – to achieve a third place in the Champions League and an Italian Cup. Not enough for a team, a company, historically used to fighting for other goals. Even the last months of this 2024, after the summer revolution, have left us a little cautious. Those who expected a radical change with the arrival of Thiago Motta – from the point of view of the game and the results – were in fact disappointed.
