Head coach Lauri Mikkola has the last word when it comes to playing goalkeepers. Finland’s goalkeeper trio at the Under-20 World Cup is Noa Vali (TPS), Kim Saarinen (HPK) and Petteri Rimpinen (Kiekko-Espoo). The Finnish coaching staff has not made a decision regarding the playing of players. The so-called number one goalkeeper has not been named – at least not four days before the start of the tournament.
