Two planes were struck by lightning above Zaventem on Sunday. Brussels Airport confirms this. A TUI plane bound for Egypt had to turn around after it was struck by a lightning bolt. A passenger informed our editors yesterday via 4040. Moments later, a cargo plane bound for Qatar was also hit. Dashcam footage captured the moment of the impact on that plane.
