Blommestijn has been playing for FC Volendam since 2020 and has made a trip to Telstar and Quick Boys in the meantime. He was most successful in the 2021-2022 season. As a player for Jong Volendam, he scored twenty goals in the second division. A breakthrough in the first team failed to materialize, partly due to injuries. Blommestijn has three substitute appearances to his name in which he scored once.
Blommestijn’s contract with FC Volendam expired next summer.
