«I get excited thinking about what I have achieved so far race after race (in jargon battlebattle). The Paris Olympics, where I competed in the five-ring debut of breakdancing, born among the gangs of the Bronx in the 70s, made me mature from an athletic and personal point of view. With Gregorio Paltrinieri and Paola Egonu I also had the honor of donating my uniform to the Olympic Museum in Lausanne. It seems like a century since I discovered Michael Jackson thanks to my dad, a hotelier and DJ as a hobby. Then came the first courses and finally the Broadway Triple Threat musical school in New York, which teaches acting, singing and dancing. It has broadened my horizons, as well as traveling often for competitions and meeting different people and cultures, who share my dream. In the future I would like to return to America to experience this discipline again in a performance environment.”

«If I’m not traveling for the races I go to the Palasport in Piancavallo. I follow a new, more focused and intense athletic training program, designed by my coach Louis Espinosa, from New York. Running every day, outdoors – I also run in the center of Aviano – or in the gym on the treadmill, plus exercises to increase elastic and explosive strength. Louis specializes in Power Moves, dynamic moves for rotations.”

«I also reviewed my diet. Three meals a day, alternating with a morning and afternoon snack, with a balance between proteins, carbohydrates, vegetables and fruit. Lots of water and no sweets. It helps me be more clear-headed. After lunch, a nap of about twenty minutes.”

«I dedicate myself to dance. My teacher is Alberto Pelus, in Maniago, who has followed me from the beginning. Musicality is important to find the right rhythm and express a song with the body, sometimes without taking a step. I train on soul, funk, hip hop and rhythm & blues rhythms. You have to bring together choreography, execution, technique, originality and improvisation. At the moment I have suspended my martial arts practice with my teacher Huang Shao Song, a multiple Chinese kung fu champion, in Pordenone.”

«At home, dinner with the family. Then I go to my room to read or watch TV, I’m addicted to the series Grace Anatomy. I’m reading If I breathe I can by Mike Marić (Roi Edizioni)doctor and former freediving champion. Useful for understanding the importance of sleep, breathing and generally on how to be an athlete in sport and in life. Or, I go out with my sisters or with Sabrina, my historical friend from Trieste. I go to dance reggaeton or Latin at the Discoteca Paradise, ten minutes from home. I follow a DJ friend of mine, a former schoolmate. It’s a liberating moment.”
