Escape attempt in Tongeren prison foiled: Polish detainees make a hole in the wall with a butter knife and spoon

Two Polish prisoners tried to escape from Tongeren prison during the night from Saturday to Sunday. That’s what ‘Het Nieuwsblad’ writes. The men used a butter knife and a spoon to make a hole in their cell wall. They also planned to tie sheets together and climb over the outer wall of the prison.
