A few weeks ago, Knack Roeselare won the first leg in the semi-finals of the cup 1-3 on the Aalst field. As a result, the West Flemish team only had two sets this afternoon.
Roeselare also started the match well, halfway through they switched up a level and ran out to 17-13. The visitors were able to return to 18-17, but then Knack steamed through to 25-18. In set two, Knack continued with the momentum and Aalst never came into the lead, 25-20. The final was already won after two sets of play.
The third set provided some playing time for some reserve players and Aalst took the lead for the first time in the match. After an exciting ending, the visitors eventually won the set, but it did not give Aalst more than a little honor. The fourth set was also one for honor and the substitute players at Roeselare showed that they were also able to win a set.
Thanks to the 3-1 victory, Roeselare can go to the Sportpaleis again and, just like last year, it will meet Menen in a West Flemish cup final.
