After all the hustle and bustle surrounding the world title, Wydaeghe is now enjoying two weeks of well-deserved rest: “We have been traveling from here to there for two weeks. We have been to the FIA award ceremonies, but have also done tests for next season, so it is best been busy.”
After being stranded in third place for three years, the victory is clearly rewarding: “All the pieces of the puzzle fell together, we worked hard for the title and, above all, showed mental resilience.”
