The 42-year-old man from Deventer who was arrested last Tuesday on suspicion of involvement in a shooting in Meppel will remain in custody for at least another fourteen days. The examining magistrate decided this today.
The shooting incident happened on Wednesday evening, December 11, in a house on Heinsiusstraat. A 24-year-old woman was injured. The suspect is being interrogated about his alleged role.
The police previously said they assumed an incident in ‘the relational sphere’, but the precise reason is still unclear.
