Franziska Preuß didn’t make a single mistake at the shooting range. Nevertheless, it was just not enough to win in France.

Franziska Preuß narrowly missed first place in the sprint in France. In the end she was 1.4 seconds short of victory. The victory went to Justine Braisaz-Bouchet, who showed an outstanding performance on the cross-country ski trail and made up for her one mistake on the shooting range. Preuss had made no mistakes when shooting. The Slovenian Anamarija Lampić came third.

In addition to Preuß, other German biathletes also knew how to convince. Selina Grotian came fifth, Vanessa Voigt came sixth.
