Despite the heavy defeat, Michaelis looked back on a historic evening. “It was a very nice experience to play here. The whole entourage around it and all those people who are in that away section. That gave me goosebumps.”

Royal HFC had an unpleasant preparation. The bus was stuck in the busy traffic in and around Eindhoven and only arrived an hour in advance. “That was annoying. We arrived too late for optimal preparation. But that had no influence on the result,” assistant coach Jarno Verweij says jokingly in front of the camera.
