Cave explorer is trapped 580 meters underground, rescue team wants to free her with explosives

A 32-year-old Italian caver has been trapped in a cave at a depth of 580 meters since a fall of five meters on Saturday evening. Rescuers try to free Ottavia Piana by blowing up the narrow caverns with micro-explosives. They came within a hundred meters of her late Monday morning. She also had to be rescued from the same cave last year.
