In the new store, which is operated by local franchise partner Mounaim Kasimi and football professional Tonny Vilhena, the “TAF 3.0” store concept was used for the first time in Europe. The retailer explained that the concept, “developed and tested” in the USA, was specifically adapted to the “unique cultural landscape and special needs in Rotterdam”.

The sporting goods chain The Athlete’s Foot, founded in the USA in 1971, has been part of the Swiss trading group Arklyz Group AG since 2021. According to its own information, it currently has more than 500 branches in over 30 countries.
