This documentary shows how Cees Meeldijk of the Maritime Missing Research Foundation searches for the fishing vessel TX26, which has been missing for 54 years. ‘Time will tell’. He does this at the request of Bert Visser, who lost his brother Bouke. For Bert, but also other relatives, there is still a lot of sadness and it is not possible to come to terms with this accident.
“This has never been closed,” surviving relative Bert says in the documentary. “It is a book that is still open on the table and has not been looked at since. But I do want to know what happened.”
Expedition
Thanks to extensive detective work, Cees finds an unknown wreck in the North Sea, which, based on location and size, could well be the TX26. During a spectacular expedition to this wreck point in the middle of the North Sea, wreck divers attempt to identify the wreck.
