Prominent Iranian singer Parastoo Ahmad, who was arrested on Saturday for performing without a headscarf, was released shortly after her arrest. Her lawyer Milad Panahipur reported this to the newspaper ‘Sharhg’. The woman and her two band members, who were also released, must now await official charges.
