Trouble in the Premier League
Ex-Bundesliga star freaks out after the final whistle

Wolverhampton Wanderers are in crisis. The worst defense in the Premier League is in a relegation zone – and the mood is changing.
The chance for liberation was there. First the Wolverhampton Wanderers met the struggling capital club West Ham United on Monday, then on Saturday they met the weakly promoted Ipswich Town. But both games were lost 1:2. The “Wolves” are still second to last in the Premier League and only have nine points after 16 games. The situation is tense.
After the 2-1 defeat against Ipswich Town, star striker Matheus Cunha also noticed this. The former Bundesliga star (RB Leipzig, Hertha BSC) freaked out after the final whistle, pushed a guest employee, grabbed his face and damaged his glasses.
The scene was triggered by Ipswich’s late winning goal in the fourth minute of added time. Wolverhampton’s Rayan Aït-Nouri apparently felt provoked, attacked the opponent – and was shown the red card. There were tumultuous scenes in which Cunha was also involved.
Ipswich Town are expecting the FA to step in and investigate the Brazilian. However, the association has not yet spoken out.
