Letizia of Spain in Italy: most beautiful royal looks, Naples

TAmong all the crowned heads, she is definitely one of the most loved, as well as among the most followed in terms of style. Letizia Ortiz, Queen of Spain, also conquered Italy in this sense, well before landing here on 10 December 2024. The recent visit to our countryin the company of King Felipe, it’s just the latest opportunity to make the most of the former journalist to enchant the public with his outfits.

Letizia of Spain and the embarrassment with Giorgia Meloni: how should they position themselves for the photo?

The couple, engaged in some institutional meetings in Rome together with the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella and the Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, also gained the Quirinale and Villa Rosebery in Naples. The official tour ended at the San Carlo Theater in the city, where King Felipe received a PhD honoris causa from the Federico II University. What did Letizia of Spain wear in Italy?

We cannot fail to mention the Queen’s looks that bear the signature of Made in Italy designers. To visit the FAO headquarters in Rome on 11 December 2024, Letizia has chosen a tweed suit mélange grey by Alberta Ferretti. Tightened at the waist, a maxi belt by Hugo Boss; the shoes, slingbacks by Magrit. The bag, one Gucci Horsebitanother small tribute to Italy. For the gala lunch at the Quirinaleorganized on the same day by President Mattarella, Letizia Ortiz opted for a long dress silk sleeveless, signed Max Mara (matched with Cartier jewellery).

Choices outside the rankings, which win easily. But what were her most successful looks spotted in recent days in the Bel Paese, except for the excellent tributes?

At the top of the top 3, above all for originality, the ensemble chosen by the Queen of Spain to attend the PhD celebrations honoris causa in Social Sciences and Statistics awarded to King Felipe from the Federico II University of Naples. During the evening of December 12, 2024 at the Teatro San Carlo, Letizia Ortiz wore a simple and effective mix: a rigorous classic white shirt and a vaporous balloon skirt dotted with small rhinestones. The Spanish brand signed it The 2nd Skin Co (the model, for those who want to copy it, is part of the brand’s spring-summer 2025 collection).

The pink suit for the meeting with Meloni in Rome

Also successful the total pink look chosen by Queen Letizia for her arrival at the Quirinale in Rome on 11 December. A bright pink jacket and skirt suit with long puff sleeves and front embroidery by Carolina Herrerathe outfit worn by the Queen of Spain for the meeting with Laura and Sergio Mattarella first, and then with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, at Villa Doria Pamphilj. On the feet, matching slingbacks, as well as the hand bag. A look (unexpectedly?) tonal compared to that of the two Italian political personalities (Laura Mattarella in salmon pink, Meloni in a blush suit).
