Singer Selena Gomez and her partner, producer Benny Blanco, are engaged.
Gomez, 32, posted early Thursday morning Finnish time pictures of a showy engagement ring. The ring has a huge diamond.
– This is where eternity begins, Gomez writes in the caption.
Based on the photos, Blanco, 36, proposed to Gomez at a picnic. The picnic blanket has food, sparkling drink and a picnic basket.
The couple went public with their relationship in December 2023. They have kept their relationship on display, posting numerous pictures of each other on social media.

Gomez said in the fall of 2024 that she cannot have children.
– I have never said this, but unfortunately I cannot have children. I have many health problems that could endanger my life and the life of my baby. I had to mourn that something.
Gomez says that she thought that becoming a parent would happen the same way for everyone. He soon realized that it wasn’t like that. The singer says that she has a better attitude towards her situation these days.
– I think it is a blessing that there are people who are willing to undergo surrogacy or adoption. Both are great opportunities for me, says Gomez.
– I’m looking forward to the trip [vanhemmuuteen] will come, but it will be a little more different. However, it doesn’t interest me in the end, because it will be my baby anyway, she adds.
