New telecom operator DIGI, with roots in Oostkamp,…

The telecom operator is also launching its own fixed internet offering via a fiber network. Here there are subscriptions of 10, 15 and 20 euros. The offer is currently only available in the Anderlecht district of Kuregem, but DIGI aims for a rapid rollout elsewhere in Brussels and other cities. The telecom operator wants to connect up to two million households to its network within five years. The company will also launch its own television offering.

DIGI Belgium is a joint venture between the Belgian Citymesh, which offers telecom services to companies, and the Romanian telecom group DIGI, which is already active in four European countries (in addition to Romania, also Spain, Portugal and Italy).
