The first time Javier Milei appeared with the presidential band it was a couple of months before the December 10the day he received the attribute in Congress. The cover of NOTICIAS advanced the possibility of his triumph in the runoff and depicted it with a band and a baton:“Milei Risk: what if you win?” said the title published in August 2023. The libertarian won and this magazine recounted his first year in office through different articles that it reviews today.
With the passage of time, Milei was changing her conception of NEWS. It went from being, declared by himself, his favorite magazine to publicly wishing that the company would go bankrupt. Prior to the ’23 campaign, the director of this medium, Alejandra Daiha, received a WhatsApp message from the libertarian celebrating the critical spirit of the magazine with the politicians in power. That characteristic that he hates since he is in power. It’s not the first time it happens.
