Every Friday I enthusiastically give my students a book tip to get them reading. When, after the American presidential elections, I casually tell a few students in 5th grade that I dreamed that Donald Trump came to pick up his daughter in my native village and that I had no chance of escaping with her with all those secret agents – that was the complete dream – the hilarity is great. A student has already made the diagnosis: “You also read way too much. That’s where all the imagination comes from.”
