A motorist hit a cyclist in the Emmer Parc Sandur district. That happened around a quarter to one at the intersection of Azurietdreef and Toermalijndreef.
The cyclist was taken to the GP post of the Scheper Hospital in Emmen for treatment. The road was partially closed. The police are investigating how exactly the accident happened.
