The Chemnitz rapper Trettmann launched the “Augen auf!” fundraising campaign to promote solidarity and work together against racism and hostility to democracy.
Bomber jackets for democracy
His new music video for “Come Home” feat. Jassin was filmed at a total of 16 crime scenes that became sadly known through right-wing violence. The locations – Dessau, Dortmund, Dresden, Eberswalde, Halle, Hamburg, Hanau, Hoyerswerda, Kassel, Leipzig, Lübeck, Mölln, Munich, Nuremberg, Solingen and Vienna – are intended to keep the memory of the victims of right-wing terrorist attacks and murders alive.
The focus is on the black bomber jackets, which are printed with the coordinates of the crime scenes. The items of clothing, which are also often worn by neo-Nazis, are intended to provoke. “We are redefining them – for diversity, education and resistance against racism,” explained the musician and continued: “Now we would like to pass on some of these jackets to make the message visible.”
As part of the fundraising campaign, exclusive prizes will be raffled off among all participants. You can win, among other things, one of the “AUGEN OPEN” bomber jackets, vinyls and guest list places for Trettmann’s upcoming concerts. The campaign runs until December 14, 2024. The contributions collected support the Amadeu Antonio Foundation as well as the associations Nicht Bock auf Nazis and RAA Sachsen.
