Images show how a Belgian journalist is arrested during protests in Georgia

In Georgia, Wietse de Geyter, a Belgian correspondent for the Dutch newspaper ‘Trouw’, has been arrested during the pro-European protests in the country. Footage shows him getting out of a taxi and being immediately arrested. His ‘Trouw’ colleague Jarron Kamphorst, who was with him at the time of his arrest, said on X that De Geyter has been unlawfully detained for “36 hours.”
