“There was quite a lot of smoke development,” the spokesperson said. “The neighbors have also been affected by this. We advise people who are bothered by the smoke to turn off ventilation systems and close windows and doors.”
The residents of surrounding houses have been evacuated and sheltered. The fire threatened to spread to a house directly next to the affected building, but the fire brigade managed to prevent that.
The fire brigade is currently still busy extinguishing the fire. “The fire is not completely out yet, but the smoke development has visibly decreased,” the spokesperson said.
