Coach sees red
Barça only plays a draw – Flick flies off the pitch

For former national coach Hansi Flick it is a used day in Seville. First he sees the red card himself, then his team loses a lead twice.
After a red card, coach Hansi Flick had to watch the late setback of leaders FC Barcelona in the Spanish football championship. The former national coach was expelled from the interior of the Catalans’ 2-2 (1-0) draw at Betis Sevilla before the penalty to make it 1-1 after he had apparently complained too loudly. Flick continued to watch the game in the stands behind a glass pane.
In the fourth minute of injury time, Assane Diao shocked the guests with the goal to make the final score 2-2. Barça had previously taken the lead twice: Robert Lewandowski first scored in the 39th minute, before Ferran Torres added the second goal in the 82nd minute. Giovani Lo Celso scored the goal to make it 1-1 with a penalty (68′) after the referee checked the scene via video assistant following a foul. Flick was visibly dissatisfied with the penalty decision, which ultimately led to his sending off.
Despite the setback, Barça remains at the top of the table with a five point lead over defending champions Real Madrid.
