The penalty for Beşiktaş’s star defender Omar Colley has been announced. Colley, who received a red card in the derby against Galatasaray, was given a 1-match suspension.
The Gambian defender first received a yellow card after he made a sliding tackle on Barış Alper Yılmaz in the 90th minute of the derby. Referee Halil Umut Meler, who watched the position on the monitor after the VAR warning, canceled the yellow card and changed his decision to a red card.
Professional Disciplinary Board (PFDK) banned Omar Colley from 1 official match after receiving a red card in the Galatasaray match.
Omar Colley will not be able to play in Beşiktaş’s match against Gaziantep FK.

BEŞİKTAŞ A.Ş. It has been decided that athlete OMAR COLLEY will be punished with 1 OFFICIAL COMPETITION BANNING, in accordance with Article 43 of the FDT and by applying Article 13 of the FDT, due to his serious foul against the opposing team athlete.
