A familiar Tinder cheater from Netflix’s Tinder Swindler documentary series Simon Leviev or Simon Hayut has been sued by the Leviev diamond family.
Leviev cheated millions of euros from European women he met in Tinder. To gain trust, Leviev claimed to the women that he was an Israeli diamond billionaire Lev Levievin son and claimed to pay back the women for his considerable funds.
Now Leviev’s family has sued the scammer. Daughter of Lev Leviev Chagit Leviev says E! Newsthat the family wants to make Leviev take responsibility for his actions. The family is demanding millions of euros in compensation from Leviev.
– Simon Hayut is a scammer who stole our family identity. Under the guise of our reputable name, he has deceived millions of euros from his victims.
– He has no kinship with the Leviev family and nothing to do with our company LLD Diamonds.
The Leviev family is grateful to the authors of the documentary series for highlighting the actions of the scammer. The family hopes public pressure will get Leviev to stop cheating on money.
Simon Leviev also has three Finnish victims. In 2016, he was sentenced to prison in Finland. After his prison sentence, Leviev was returned to Israel, after which he changed his name and returned to Europe to prey on new victims. Leviev is currently free.
