There has been unrest at Red Bull for several weeks. The reason: allegations against the team boss. Now the racing team has made a decision.
An employee had accused Red Bull team boss Christian Horner of inappropriate behavior. An independent lawyer investigated. Now the parent company has made a decision: Horner can stay.
Red Bull announced this in a statement on Wednesday afternoon. Several British media had previously reported.
“The independent investigation into the allegations made against Mr. Horner has been completed and Red Bull can confirm that the lawsuit has been dismissed,” parent company Red Bull Austria announced. “However, the plaintiff has the right to lodge an objection. Red Bull is convinced that the investigation was conducted fairly, conscientiously and impartially.”

However, details should not be shared with the public. “The investigation report is confidential and contains the private information of the parties involved and third parties who assisted in the investigation. Therefore, out of respect for all involved, we will not comment further.”
The Telegraph had previously reported that Horner would be at the racing team’s command post in the paddock at the start of the Formula 1 season this Thursday, as usual.
The reports about the allegations against Horner varied widely: sometimes it was about the 50-year-old’s leadership style, sometimes it was about improper behavior towards an employee.
