The upcoming film titled “Michael” about the life of Michael Jackson is officially in production and is scheduled to be released on April 18, 2025. Now eight actors have been cast as the King of Pop’s brothers – Jermaine, Marlon, Tito and Jackie – to represent the Jackson Five as they age in the film.

In the group’s early years, Jermaine is played by Jayden Harville, Marlon by Jaylen Lyndon Hunter, Tito by Judah Edwards, and Jackie by Nathaniel Logan McIntyre. In the later years, Jermaine is portrayed by Jamal R. Henderson, Marlon by Tre Horton, Tito by Rhyan Hill and Jackie by Joseph David-Jones.
“The truly epic nature of this film required a total of ten actors with the talent to portray the Jackson 5 over the years,” said the film’s producer Graham King in a press statement. “I am thrilled to introduce this extraordinary group of actors and actresses to audiences worldwide in this film.”
Jackson’s nephew plays the “King of Pop”
Jaafar Jackson will portray his late uncle in the film, alongside Nia Long, who will play Katherine Jackson, and Oscar nominee Colman Domingo, who will take on the role of controversial Jackson family patriarch Joe Jackson. Nine-year-old actor Juliano Krue Valdi will portray Jackson during his formative years with the Jackson 5.
The biopic is directed by Antoine Fuqua, who directed “Emancipation”, “Olympus Has Fallen” and “The Equalizer”, among others.
