Barcelona coach Xavi has commented on the latest speculation about negotiations with the courted BVB striker Erling Haaland. Laporte’s offer to Raiola for the striker is said to be a total gross salary of €195m over five years – with an annual increase up to €55m last year.
Xavi explained before the upcoming LaLiga duel with the table 13. FC Elche (Sunday from 4:15 p.m. in the TM live ticker) that players in the Haaland or Mbappé category would be a great asset for the Spanish league: “The more footballers there are at this level, the better and more attractive the championship will be.”
