The presenters of the anniversary broadcast of the Jussi gala have been announced. This year, the 80th anniversary of the Jussi award is celebrated at the film industry gala.
This year, the gala will be hosted by an acting duo. One of them is Katariina Kaitue57, which is known among other things Distractions– and Punch comedy– movies. He has also been seen competing Dancing with the Stars program in 2022. Today, he is part of the permanent cast of the Finnish National Theatre.

Kaitue gets an acting legend as its host Jaana Saarinen68. He is known among other things Secret lives from the series and Mum-film, for which he received a Jussi nomination. In addition, Saarinen will be seen in this year’s release The love story of a madman in the movie. On the side of entertainment programs, he is known, among other things Talent Finland – as a judge of the program and Do not laugh – competition.

The Jussi Award, established in 1944, is the oldest film award in Europe that is still awarded. The first Jussits were distributed on November 16, 1944 in the Helsinki restaurant Adlon, where many Suomifilm films were also shot.
