Catherine Keyl and Tina Nijkamp get a big slap on the fingers from Gordon. According to him, they have behaved very unethically. “Her opinion doesn’t interest me one bit.”
Because of his constant bickering with everything and everyone, there are many people who are done with Gordon. He is also anything but popular with Catherine Keyl. The television dino even indicated last year that he made him sick. And last month she shouted that Beau van Erven Dorens had completely missed the point with his Gordon interview.
No bullshit
However, Gordon believes that that woman has no right to speak at all. “Catherine Keyl has lost all credits with me. She said earlier that it made her throw up, which she later apologized for. And 35 years ago she outed me in The Five Hour Show, while I had asked not to do that,” he gushes in the Weekend.
He never forgave Catherine for that forced coming out. “She deliberately put the question through the audience. So what Catherine thinks of me doesn’t interest me one bit.”
Yelling at Tina
Tina Nijkamp worked behind the scenes at Catherine at the time. The ratings authority then came to take a look at the TV world and stated that Gordon had cursed her completely behind the scenes.
Gordon says: “I don’t remember screaming. I did get angry. Rightly so. I was an aspiring artist and had indicated that I didn’t want to talk about my love life – I wasn’t ready to say that yet. If you then do that anyway, and via a false route, that is very mean.”
Ruthless
In Gordon’s view, Catherine and Tina are among the media people who make things very difficult for him. Because of these types of people he also fears for his musical comeback.
He writes: “It’s quite a thing, considering how ruthless the media has been towards me in recent years. Of course, there are always people who think something of it and that’s okay, but it does make me nervous.”
