The Dutch Athletics Union announced on Tuesday the list of athletes for the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow (March 1 to 3). Lieke Klaver (Enkhuizen), Jessica Schulder (Volendam) and Nadine Visser (Hoogkarspel) all have a chance of winning a medal. At least nine North Holland athletes will travel to Scotland.

These are still exciting times for Ryan Clarke. The athlete from Castricum, specialist in the 800 meters, has not yet reached the limit. However, based on the world rankings, he could hope for a spot at the World Cup.

Lieke Klaver is also a candidate for a medal. At the National Indoor Championships, she ran in the wake of Bol to a time of 50.10, making her currently the second fastest woman in the world in the 400 meters. Jessica Schilder leads the world rankings in the shot put and Nadine Visser can count herself among the favorites in the 60 meter hurdles.
