After his first two games, Sacha Boey is not available to FC Bayern for the time being. According to the club, the 23-year-old right-back suffered a large fiber tear in his left back thigh and will be out for the next few weeks. The Frenchman came to Munich from Galatasaray at the end of January for 30 million euros, making him the most expensive winter signing in the club’s history.
Since then, Boey has appeared twice in the Bundesliga, including once in the starting line-up. Coach Thomas Tuchel recently did without him in the Champions League at Lazio Rome. The only remaining fit right-back in the squad is Noussair Mazraoui (26). Bouna Sarr (32) will probably no longer play a game for FC Bayern after tearing his cruciate ligament.
