The AW24 women’s fashion week season is approaching and with many debuts and comebacks announced, it looks like an exciting time for the industry. Before we dive into the upcoming dates, FashionUnited has put together all the information you need to prepare.

New York: February 9th to 14th

Ludovic de Saint Sernin, February 11th: Almost a year after stepping down as creative director of Ann Demeulemeester, Ludovic de Saint Sernin announces the international debut for his eponymous brand.

Câllas, Feb. 10: Derek Lam will make his debut with Italian label Câllas, with his first collection aimed at reinforcing a recognizable brand identity through distinctive silhouettes across all categories.

Other debuts: Bishme Cromartie, Colleen Allen, Jane Wade, Meruert Tolegen

Puma, Feb 8: The sports brand is planning a year since the last NYFW Puma a rebootwhich will celebrate the revival of its 1999 Mostro sneaker.

Tommy Hilfiger, Feb. 9: Tommy Hilfiger will return this seasonwith a presentation that reflects a “modern expression of classic American cool” and aims to re-explore the brand’s original preppy roots.

Thom Browne, Feb. 14: CFDA Chairman Thom Browne returns home after previously exhibiting in Paris to close out NYFW on its final day.

National Geographic, Feb. 10: Ahead of the upcoming women’s documentary series “Queens,” National Geographic premiere with an immersive show at NYFWhighlighting animal matriarchy themes while supporting emerging designers.

Delpozo: As part of the Spanish brand’s relaunch, Delopozo will commemorate its 50th anniversary at NYFW with an order-only presentation.

London: February 16th to 20th

FitFlop x Roksanda, Feb 17: Shortly after a new brand image was unveiledshoe brand FitFlop is now ready a collaboration with LFW veteran Roksanda to debut, with a collection designed by a shared internal team that extends beyond the current season.

Recurring

Dunhill, Feb 16: After a short break and final show of 2020, Dunhill is preparing to return to LFW with an intimate runway and celebrate the arrival of new creative director Simon Holloway with an event that also coincides with the brand’s 130th anniversary .

Special events

Ukrainian Fashion Week, Feb 10: With its third edition, Ukrainian Fashion Week will once again host a joint show during LFW, this time with Tamar Keburia, J’Amemme and Gasanova, who will each present their FW24/25 collections.

1664 Blanc: As part of the city-wide celebrations in London, main sponsor 1664 Blanc will host an experience at Selfridges, where industry veterans and trailblazers will deliver a range of talks at an event in the retailer’s cinema hall.

Milan: February 20th to 26th

Sagaboi, Feb 22: Following his menswear debut at AW23 LFW, Geoff Cooper is bringing his young, Caribbean-inspired label to Milan this year, where he will continue the fusion of his Trinidadian heritage with West Indian culture.

Tod’s, Feb. 23:Similar is the case with the Italian leather brand, where former Bottega Veneta designer Matteo Tamburini will make his debut after being hired in December.

Blumarine, Feb 23: This season will also Walter Chiapponi as creative director make his debut for Blumarine, a role he took on following his departure from Tod’s early last year.

February, February 25th: However, a newer name on the bill is Londoner and former LFW regular Feben, who is coming to Milan with support from Dolce & Gabbana.

Marni, February 23rd: Among those returning is Marni, which briefly left the Milan fair to hold fashion shows in Paris, Tokyo and New York. This is part of a broader initiative to bring the brand closer to customers worldwide.

Paris: February 26th to March 5th

Debuts

Rochas, Feb 28: The recently appointed creative director for Rochas, Alessandro Vigilante, is expected to redefine the house’s identity and introduce new codes in his debut this season.

Chloe, Feb 29: Chemena Kamali will debut as creative director for Chloé this season, a brand with which she has previously been associated, having previously worked as a designer before joining Saint Laurent.

Alexander McQueen, March 2: After the departure of long-time creative director Sarah Burton, a new era begins for Alexander McQueen under the leadership of recently appointed boss Seán McGirrwho swapped positions with Ann Demeulemeester to be at the helm of the British brand.

Zomer, March 5th: After an exhibition at Dover Street Market last season, new brand Zomer is set to conquer Paris this year with a collection designed by founders Daniel Aitouganov and Imruh Asha of Dazed Digital.

Lacoste, March 5th: More than two years after the last PFW show for SS22, Lacoste returns to the City of Light under the creative direction of its head designer Pelagia Kolotourus, who made her debut for the brand during New York Fashion Week last year.

Off-White, Feb. 29: After missing seasons in the recent past Off-White will return to Pariswith a combined women’s and men’s fashion show entitled “Black by Popular Demand”, marking the third presentation under the creative direction of Ibrahim Kamara.

Special events

Louis Vuitton, March 5: This season, Nicolas Ghesquière celebrates his tenth anniversary as creative director of women’s fashion at Louis Vuitton, and the French luxury house returns to its usual place to close the week. Ahead of the occasion, Ghesquière took to social media to reflect on his time with the brand, building anticipation for the upcoming show.
