Eintracht Frankfurt has completed the signing of defensive talent Aurèle Amenda for the coming summer. The 20-year-old central defender from BSC Young Boys had already been a topic at the SGE in the winter. He signed a contract with Main until 2029.

A transfer fee of between 8 million and 10 million euros was recently negotiated – plus bonuses. According to “Bild”, among others, 8.5 million or 9 million euros plus additional payments are due. Either way, the Swiss U21 international is one of the ten most expensive signings in Eintracht history.

Amenda was trained with the Young Boys and joined the professional squad at the beginning of 2021. Since then he has played 45 games in which he contributed an assist. In the latest market value update in Switzerland, he was the biggest winner, rising by 2 million to 5 million euros. This makes him the fourth most valuable professional in the Super League.

Amanda explained: “The German Bundesliga is a dream for many players. I’m really pleased that a club as rich in tradition as Eintracht Frankfurt is relying on me. Until the end of the season, my focus will be on the Young Boys. After a Swiss championship title and a cup victory, I will do everything I can to ensure that we can celebrate together with the fans at the end of this season.”
