Christian Horner, team boss of the Formula 1 team Oracle Red Bull Racing, is accused of “inappropriate behavior” towards a colleague. Red Bull has initiated “external investigations”, Horner rejects the allegations.
“An independent investigation has been launched into the recent allegations”said Red Bull at Sportschau’s request. “It is being conducted by an external independent investigative attorney and will be completed as quickly as possible.”
The English Newspaper”The Times“had reported that a woman in the Red Bull Group was involved “inadequate behaviour” that Horner reported to her. What exactly Horner is accused of is not yet known.
Horner rejects allegations
Horner denied the allegations in the Dutch newspaper ““The Telegraaf” completely back. He wants to continue preparing the team for the season, which starts on March 2nd with the race in Bahrain.
Horner has been team boss since the Red Bull team was founded in 2005. The 50-year-old led the Red Bull team to seven driver titles at the World Championships. Four wins by Sebastian Vettel have been followed by three by Max Verstappen. Horner also won the constructors’ title six times with Red Bull.
