After rumors recently emerged about an interest in Olympique Lyon’s Skelly Alvero (21), Werder Bremen is said to be looking for another player: According to “NTV Spor“The Green-Whites are recruiting right-back Onur Bulut. There will be a meeting between Bremen and Besiktas shortly. It is said that the 29-year-old professional, who was born in Werdohl (NRW), would like to return to Germany.

In addition to Werder, Udinese Calcio is also said to be interested in the four-time Turkish international. Bulut’s contract in Istanbul runs until 2026 and his market value is 3.8 million euros. Since Mitchell Weiser’s contract on the Weser ends and an extension is currently considered unlikely, he could be valuable for the Bundesliga club, especially with a view to the new season.
Like Weiser (29), Bulut is at home on the right wing, at the front and back – but that’s not all: the veteran has also been tried out in central midfield (23 games) and as a left-back (ten times) in his professional career. There is almost no position that Bulut has not held.
