Barbie received several nominations.
Barbie is nominated in a total of eight categories at the upcoming Oscars. The film is, among other things, nominated for the best film of the year, and played by Ken Ryan Gosling is nominated for Best Supporting Actor.
The fact that Barbie played has aroused wonder Margot Robbie was left without a main actor nomination. Movie director Greta Gerwig he too was left without a nomination.
Gosling has now published a press release related to the topic. He says he was taken in by his own candidacy.
– I am incredibly proud that the nomination came from presenting a plastic doll named Ken.

Gosling reminds in his announcement that there is no Ken without Barbie and there would be no film without Gerwig and Robbie.
– I am disappointed that they are not nominated in their own categories. Their work deserves to be recognized alongside other highly deserving candidates, Gosling says in a statement.
Starred in the Barbie movie America Ferrera received a nomination for best supporting actress.
– I am so happy America Ferrera and on behalf of the other incredible artists who have made this such a groundbreaking film.
