A number of international players play at ZV De Zaan, who became European champions last week. These are Lieke Rogge, Bente Rogge and Britt van den Dobbelsteen. Together with former player Kitty-Lyn Joustra, they were honored by the club.
The women of ZV De Zaan played a catch-up match at home against ZVL 1886 on Friday evening. Without the internationals, they won 14-9. During the match, Rogge, Van den Dobbelsteen and Joustra had a special function. They acted as DJ and speaker.
