Kim Kardashian was officially declared single

Reality TV star Kim Kardashian was officially declared single in divorce proceedings, TMZ and People.

The divorce process with rapper Kanye “Ye” West is still pending, but on paper, Kardashian’s Marital Status is now unmarried. He also regained his old surname: he is now Kardashian, and no longer Kardashian West.

The case was decided in court on Tuesday, March 1st. Kardashian attended the session via video call, Ye did not attend at all.

Today a comedian Pete Davidsonin Kardashian, who was dating, asked the court for permission to single-handedly and abandon the West name last December. Ye opposed the request. The ex-couple has four children: North, 8, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 2. They married in April 2014, and Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021.

According to TMZ sources, the Yen Marital Status has also been made unmarried. The divorce process between the duo has been contentious. Kardashian has accused West of deliberately delaying the divorce process. The woman asked the court to speed up the process in February.

– I deeply hope for a divorce. I have asked Kanye to keep our divorce private, but she has not done so. Kanye has shared a lot of lies about our family’s private affairs and our custody on social media, which has caused stress. I believe that if the right to dissolve our marriage, Kanye accepts that our marriage is over and we can move on to a better path to peaceful joint custody, she writes in a document filed with the court.
