Power taker Joe Ladnier is dead, says the Daily Mail.
Ladnier, 60, went missing on Christmas Eve morning, prompting an extensive search. Those close to him were especially worried because Ladnier needed daily anti-rejection medication for a kidney transplant.
Ladnier’s pickup truck was found abandoned on December 29 in Alabama. An empty pistol holster, a laptop computer, a pillow and $146 in cash were found inside the vehicle.
The car was found on an abandoned highway after seven hours of searching. The next day, the remains of his body were found only 300 yards, or about 274 meters, from the car.
The police are investigating the case as a homicide.

Ladnier became famous in both powerlifting and bodybuilding. His record in the leg squat was a handsome 432 kilograms.
He owned a gym in his home village of Hurley, which is located near London. Ladnier also worked as a personal trainer. He also served in the navy and worked in law enforcement.
He will be missed by his wife Lori10 children and 14 grandchildren.
