Daley Blind has scored again for Girona FC. The 33-year-old Dutch international did that in the third round of the Spanish cup tournament. Girona won 2-0 at Elche, which plays in a class lower.
Blind, who scored accurately three days earlier in the league match won 4-3 against Atlético Madrid by his team, emerged free at the far post after a corner kick in the 37th minute. The Elche players had lost sight of him, after which Blind was able to tap the ball into the goal just in front of the keeper.
