Philadelphia (AP) – National ice hockey player Leon Draisaitl has returned to the top of the NHL scorer list with his 37th goal of the season.
His 1-0 goal against the Philadelphia Flyers paved the way for his Edmonton Oilers to win 3-0 on Tuesday evening (local time), in which Germany’s best ice hockey player was also involved with an assist. The 26-year-old from Cologne is tied with 37 goals with Auston Matthews of the Toronto Maple Leafs. In the National Hockey League’s scorer standings, he now has 76 points, one point less than teammate Connor McDavid, who also scored one goal and had one assist.
Moritz Seider played a major role in the Detroit Red Wings’ narrow victory in overtime against the five-game unbeaten Carolina Hurricanes with the assist for the decisive goal. The defender played Lucas Raymond’s 4:3.
