Ghost driver disappears into fish pond after fleeing from police on the A2, major search started

A motorist fleeing the police got his vehicle stuck in a meadow in Itteren near Maastricht on Monday morning and then jumped into a nearby fish pond. He was seen there briefly but disappeared under water. The emergency services used divers to search for the driver.
