After Florian Hempel caused a sensation with his comeback win against Dimitri Van den Bergh on Friday evening (December 22nd, 2023), Ricardo Pietreczko would like to land the next coup for a German darter. With Hempel, Gabriel Clemens and Martin Schindler, three Germans are already in the third round, more than ever before in the “Ally Pally”. Pietreczko could follow them, in the afternoon “Pikachu”, as the Berliner is nicknamed, will meet the Englishman Callan Rydz.
If Pietreczko prevails, four German darters would be in the running after the short Christmas break, when the hot phase of the World Cup begins.
